Canadian Quilters' Association

The Sherwood Park Quilt Guild is a member of the Canadian Quilters' Association. We encourage our members to visit the CQA and learn more about what our CQA membership offers. Our copy of the Canadian Quilter magazine is kept in the SPQG Library, members can sign it out during monthly Guild meetings.

You can also get a personal membership in CQA. Please visit the CQA website for details about the difference between guild membership and personal membership.

The Canadian Quilters’ Association/Association Canadienne de la  Courtepointe promotes quilting and quilters across Canada by working  with individuals, professionals, guilds and the industry through its  annual conference and workshops, its magazine, social media, the  certified judging program and its various programs and events.

Land Acknowledgement

We respectfully recognize that we live, work, and play on Treaty 6 territory — the traditional meeting grounds, gathering place, and travelling route of the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, Dene, and Nakota Sioux peoples. We honour and acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries. Their histories, languages, and cultures continue to enrich our shared community today and into the future.
