Block Lottery for Charity

This year's Block Lottery Challenge is to construct blocks that will then be donated and made into Charity Quilts. A new pattern and starter kit will be available from charity at the beginning of each month's meeting.

October 9 2025

• Theme:  Creativity! 
•  Anita Armstrong will present a trunk show and talk on her dazzling mosaics and unique creations! 

November 13 2025

• Theme: Dedication 
• Quilts of Valour Presentation.  Come celebrate & honor our vets. Have a coffee and a chat!

January 8 2026 - ZOOM MEETING

•  Kelly Y . will visit via zoom to present techniques to make backings spectacular! Trunk show too! 

February 12 2026 - ZOOM MEETING

•  Terry Rowland - Local Alberta quilter , will present and speak on her diverse quilting journey ! 

March 12 2026

•  Theme:  Live trunk show! 
•  Modern/traditional Trunk show and talk by Sara Norquay. A local artist, she will speak on her unique blend of modern quilting with traditional influences. 

April 9 2026

• Theme:  Scrap it up many ways! 
• Cathy Thomm will present a trunk show a talk on her eclectic blend of scrap/ traditional and modern quilting! 

May 14 2026

• Theme:  Bags, bags, bags! 
• Emmaline bags will fill us in on all the latest and exciting items in bag making. Pop up shop included! 

June 11 2026

• Year End Party
